Laboratory
The RDL Laboratory is a research facility that has been supporting the development and production of heat-shrinkable products since 1983. We specialize in the analysis and improvement of radiation cross-linked polyolefin plastics – materials that form the foundation of our products' reliability.
Thanks to modern measuring and testing equipment, we develop our own polymer recipes, modify existing compositions, and control every stage of the process – from raw material to the finished product. The Brabender laboratory line enables the production of granule batches for testing or implementation production, both according to our own recipes and client specifications.
The RDL Laboratory conducts comprehensive material testing, including:
Plastics: Analysis of melt flow index (MFI), density, moisture, hardness (Shore A and D), tensile strength, thermal stability (OIT), softening point, and decomposition temperature (DSC).
Finished Products: Control of dimensions and shape, thermal resistance tests (up to +300°C), heat aging, chemical and mechanical resistance, dielectric strength measurements (up to 80 kV), low-temperature tests (down to -40°C), and hot set elongation tests (HOT-SET).
Every stage of the process – from raw material to the final product – undergoes precise verification, which guarantees parameter repeatability and full compliance with industry standards.
The laboratory is equipped with a complete set of measuring and testing devices from renowned manufacturers, including: INSTRON, NETZSCH, MEMMERT, Binder, MITUTOYO, ZWICK, BROOKFIELD, Brabender, TESA.
The scope of testing covers mechanical, thermal, electrical, and physicochemical measurements, carried out in accordance with applicable quality standards.
